SD-WAN Reference Guide Solution Overview
SMBs are constantly trying to do more with less. Businesses with multiple branches and remote workers need reliable, secure network services to be able to perform key business functions daily, where anything from real-time inventory levels to staff rosters to marketing campaign resources need to be able to be shared and worked on collaboratively.
Friction in any part of the process is not welcome, and while cloud hosting providers such as Google Drive or Dropbox are great up to a point, organisations expanding into new locations get to a stage where these solutions are not enough for the new level of complexities that comes with the growing business. They identify the need for their own private network to make these daily communication tasks easy, secure and flexible – at a cost that makes business sense.
SD-WAN allows businesses to build higher-performance WANs over their standard Internet plans, which can replace more expensive private WAN connection technologies such as MPLS or leased lines.
SMBs with 3+ locations that are already paying for costly WAN technology would appreciate the simplicity and cost savings from the Aerohive SD-WAN solution, and businesses that have looked into the traditional process but found them prohibitively expensive, now have a more affordable option available to them.
